County Durham Drug and Alcohol Recovery Services for adults and young people

Lifeline Project is a national charity dedicated to improving the lives of individuals, families and communities affected by drugs and alcohol. We build real and sustained change through responsive local services.

Lifeline has been commissioned to provide recovery focused, community lead, clinical and non- clinical interventions to enable people in County Durham to achieve their personal goals as well as improve their relationships both within their communities and within their family and support network.

This contract started in April 2015 and is already having a positive impact on the local communities within County Durham. The services operate from 6 hubs within County Durham- Peterlee, Seaham, Durham, Bishop Auckland, Consett and Newton Aycliffe and, as you can imagine, have distinct characteristics to enable the teams to support the different communities that access the hubs. We are open evenings and currently on a Saturday morning, this requires flexibility from the applicants and willingness to meet the needs of the people who use the services we provide.

If you would like to be considered for more than one role please state this on your application form.

The roles that we are currently recruiting for are:-

Young Person Senior Practitioner- Consett

Young Person Worker Consett

Through and Aftercare Worker – Consett – Fixed term contract until 31st March 2017

Young Person Senior Practitioner – Newton Aycliffe – Fixed term contract until 31st March 2017
